Miria Cappugi was born in Florence on 03.01.1959 and since 1977, after her diploma and her marriage, she lives in a small village in Mugello, Ronta.
She participates in the National Competition of Prose Poetry and Dramaturgy "Mille Pagine" for the 1992, 1993 editions and 1995, for whose participation she was awarded as many Diplomas.
In 1994 she was awarded the "Premio Mugello" within this competition.
In 1993 she received the 1st prize for "IV Poetry Competition Il Galletto".
In 1995 she elaborated together with Ezio Alessio Gensini her first personal collection " The Eye of the Soul” with a preface by Franco Manescalchi.
In 1996 he published the collection "The well and the moon" as a finalist work of the National Competition Ibiskos section.
Autumn.
In 1997, the Anthologies “The Word and the Time” and “Versi Felini” were published, ed.
Ibiskos.1998 participates in the 12th ed.
“Lorenzo Montano” competition.
In 1999 he received the 4th prize in the “Andrea da Pontedera” Easter competition.
In 2000 he won the 3rd prize in the “Christmas together against leukemia” competition and in the “Falco Ceravola” competition.
In 2003 he published the first novel “LAddio imperfetto (Andrea) ed.
Ibiskos.
In 2004 it was published as a finalist for the eighth edition of the “Città di Empoli Domenico Rea” short story prize.
